Sadaf started basketball at the age of 9. At first she practiced boxing with her friends in Taleghani park.
She studied sport engineering at Azad University.
In 2013 she professionally chose boxing alongside her coach Mahyar Monshipour.
The boxing gym she used to go for practicing was out of Tehran so she used to go to Varamin from Tehran every week to practice boxing.
-There was a gym in Tehran that Sadaf used to work there as a coach.She used to go to Varamin every Friday and practiced boxing and the other days she worked as a coach in a gym in Tehran.
Sadaf Khadem chose boxing to always be a strong and warrior woman,she has made a path for Iranian girls to be able to do it and achieve their goals.
